AN INTERVIEW WITH JESSICA NOVAKOVICH

Jessica Novakovich is a ballet teacher, choreographer and Pilates instructor with four years of experience, previously working as a professional ballet dancer for three years. Throughout her teaching career, she has trained the students of the Akhmedova Ballet Academy (ABA) in levels Pre-PTP, PTP 1 and PTP 2/3 in the Vaganova method of training as well as Pilates Mat and Reformer instructions. In addition, she works with all students of the school to choreograph numerous contemporary and character solos/ensembles. Her expertise encompasses choreographing dances and short ballets of many genres for students age 8-19 to create a story for their audiences that both develops the student’s artistry while spreading art and culture, diversity and equality to those who watch.
