Why attend an ABA summer intensive?
ABA utilizes the traditional Russian Vaganova method in which some of the greatest ballet dancers such as Nureyev, Makarova, Baryshnikov, Zakharova, and Osipova were trained.
Summer Intensive students who wish to attend ABA Professional Training Program will be carefully evaluated for the year-round programs.
Classes are kept small so that serious dancers ages 13-23 receive the finest quality ballet training.
Classes will be taught by our professional ABA faculty and well known guest teachers.
Each student is given an opportunity to learn solo variations, group pieces, character dances and contemporary choreographies to be performed at the end of the intensive in studio.
